Building the Foundation with the First 100 Members

When we envisioned the Ensemble Guild, we knew we weren’t building a passive directory or a massive, faceless list of names. We were setting out to build a professional member organization dedicated to sharpening skills, showcasing talent, and recognizing excellence across Mississippi’s film, TV, music, theatre, visual design, and arts education industries for a global audience.

To do that, you have to start with the foundation.

Right now, we are officially searching for our first 100 members—the foundational cohort of creators, narrative-shifters, and dedicated artists who will help us anchor a new movement for Southern storytelling.

Being a part of the Guild means you no longer have to create in isolation. It means stepping into a trusted network designed entirely to protect your creative energy, honor your agency, and elevate your practice.

As part of this inaugural group, you will gain direct access to our core foundational pathways:

• The Ensemble Suite: Our signature series of masterclasses and creative workshops. This isn't a rigid, top-down curriculum; these sessions are entirely informed by the specific needs, goals, and interests of our members. Whether you need to master the business side of your practice or sharpen a technical skill, we build the workshops around what you actually need to grow.

• Teaching Arts Certification Pathway: For the artists looking to expand both their community impact and their income, this initiative trains you to become a certified teaching artist. You’ll learn how to pair your creative discipline with academic subjects and life skills, equipping you to bring powerful, arts-integrated programming to youth and community initiatives.

• A Pipeline for the Future: We are playing the long game. As our membership grows, we are actively developing future initiatives designed to showcase member talent, fund new work, and recognize creative excellence on a global scale.

We are looking for multi-disciplinary creative professionals who are deeply committed to their craft and ready to engage with a community of their peers. Whether you are behind a camera, on a stage, writing the script, or designing the visual identity of our culture, if you are actively shaping what Mississippi looks, sounds, and feels like—your voice belongs in this room.
