MyKinzi' Roy operates at the intersection of design, emerging technology, and cultural research. As the Brand Director for the Mississippi AI Collaborative, she designs marketing campaigns and educational materials that translate complex technical concepts into clear visual communications. Her design portfolio spans photography, motion graphics editing, brand logos, and digital illustration. Notably, she engineered the visual identity and designed the logo for Southern Spark, Mississippi’s inaugural statewide AI Conference.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, MyKinzi' established her professional foundation in Jackson, Mississippi, contributing as a research assistant for the Black Digital Humanities Lab and collaborating with regional organizations like the Red Beans Group. Her industry insight and perspectives on design and technological inclusion have been featured by national platforms, including data.org and CanvasRebel.
Over the next 12 months, MyKinzi' is expanding her visual practice beyond digital and static mediums into physical design. Her primary objective within the Guild cohort is to master garment construction and sewing to design and produce her own clothing line, bridging digital brand architecture with physical product execution.
